Big Week in the CEV Champions League Volley Early Rounds

Champions League Volleyball 2025 continues with the Early Rounds, the remaining eight men's teams jumping back in the first leg of Round 2 while the ten women's teams are starting the season directly with Round 3.
Over this week and the next, the ten women's teams seeded directly in Round 3, the only round taking place before the group phase, will be battling out for the one of the 5 remaining spots into the highly coveted next round.
Given the increased number of available seats, this is a great opportunity for these teams to mark an important milestone, participation in the group phase of the most important club competition in the world.
On the men's side, Round 2 will further filter the teams with only four of them going through into the next round, the last preliminary round to be played prior to the start of the group phase. As opposed to the women's competition, only two spots are available for the men's teams upon completion of Round 3.
