CEV Champions League Volley 2025 | Women
After a one-week break, CEV Champions League Women is back, and so is the CEV Champions League Fantasy game, with new picks ready to be made by enthusiastic managers.
The first-of-its-kind experience for CEV, gives fans the opportunity to become the coach of their own team across the men’s and women’s European premium competitions. Fans can pick a team of twelve players with specific assigned positions inside a dedicated team budget of 100 million euros.
Haven’t you already signed in and chose your team? Don’t worry, we got you covered.
So, the rules are quite simple and can be found here. To start, you must select a squad of 12 players with an initial budget of 100 million fantasy euros. The initial squad selection must consist of: three outside hitters, three middle blockers, two setters, two liberos and two opposites. You must select 7 players from your squad of 12 players to form your starting roster for each game week.
Of course, the risk of having a player not featuring on the court is high, as proven in the first round, where plenty of teams rested their key starters. We have learnt and adapted and now we get ready to our second draft in the CEV Champions League Women Fantasy.
KEY STARS:
Tijana Boskovic (€15m): Eczacibasi’s superstar is the eighth best scorer on her position in the CEV Champions League Fantasy, but she has featured in only five sets so far and is starting to pick up the pace. Last round, she had 53 of her 90 points in the game, and with the Turkish side aiming to make it three out of three against Levallois, she is primed for another good match. So far, Boskovic has an average of 4.44 points scored per set, which is definitely a good place to start the team with.
Ana Carolina da Silva (€11m): It’s the set and forget option. The Brazilian star is the highest-scoring middle blocker in the game, with 103 points, 14 more points than any other player. Scandicci have not lost a set so far and will be favoured against BKS Stal Bielsko-Biała, as the Polish side will look to bounce back after their loss against Voluntari. With such a lopsided match, where they are clearly favoured, Scandicci will count on Ana Carolina da Silva in this match.
Zhu Ting (€12m): Conegliano have a stellar line-up and have a plethora of options, but the Chinese star has made a serious impact in the previous win, 3:0 against Maritza Plovdiv. The reigning champions face Developres Rzeszów, a team which also won the first two matches, and Zhu, who scored 56 points in the game last round, after not featuring against Mladost Zagreb, should be a key player in this match.
KEY DIFFERENTIAL
Hena Kurtagic (€7m): We selected Kurtagic in the first match, but she makes a comeback here, as Numia Vero Volley Milano’s rising star is a good option for a differential. Kurtagic has 89 points in the game so far, the second middle blocker, and will be key in Milano’s hefty challenge against VakifBank Istanbul, in the most balanced match of the week in the 3th matchday of the CEV Champions League Women.
