CEV Champions League Volley 2025 | Women
In their first meeting in the Champions League, FC Porto won 3-0 against Calcit KAMNIK (25-20, 25-18, 25-18). The Portuguese team played well together, making it hard for Calcit KAMNIK to keep up. The match was special because it was the first time a Slovenian and Portuguese team had played against each other in the Women’s Champions League.

The team stayed focused and managed to score several points in a row. In the third set, they went from 18-11 to 23-16, which sealed the win. This showed how well they played together and kept their focus until the end.
Even though they lost, Calcit Kamnik had some bright moments. Asja Šen came back from injury, giving the team a much-needed lift. At just 18 years old, Maša Pucelj, the youngest player, stood out as the top scorer, showing her skill and determination
After the win, FC Porto turned their focus to the next challenges in the Champions League. The points they earned were important, but more than that, the victory gave them the confidence to face whatever came next.
