Five Teams Secure Group Phase Spots for CEV Champions League Volley 2025 Women

As the excitement builds for the CEV Champions League Volley 2025, five teams have emerged victorious in their qualifications and are now poised to compete in the prestigious and highly coveted Group Phase. From different parts of Europe, these teams bring unique histories, skills, and ambitions to the tournament.

To get through to the Group Phase, all five of these teams had to see off tough opposition in Round 3 across the home and away ties, putting up very strong performances. In all the five matchups, the teams that have qualified for the Group Phase won both matches, truly proving worthy of joining the best clubs in the world in the next round.

Let’s take a closer look at the five clubs that have earned their places among Europe's elite.

FC Porto (Portugal)
A football powerhouse also making waves in volleyball, FC Porto has continued to solidify its position as a dominant force in Portuguese volleyball.  With strong leadership and a roster full of talented players, Porto is looking to make a deep run this season and surprise European volleyball fans.

C.S.O Voluntari 2005 (Romania)
Romania’s C.S.O Voluntari 2005 has seen a rapid rise in recent years, becoming a team to watch out for in the CEV Champions League. Their technical prowess and dynamic gameplay have carried them through the qualification round, where they defeated tough opposition to secure their spot. Voluntari will be representing Romania with pride, and their ambition will make them a competitive side as they challenge some of the biggest names in European volleyball.

PGE Grot Budowlani Łódź (Poland)
Poland's PGE Grot Budowlani Łódź brings its rich volleyball tradition into this year's CEV Champions League with high hopes. Known for their passionate fan base and disciplined approach to the game, Budowlani Łódź has a long-standing reputation in Polish volleyball. Their qualification for the Group Phase will see them face off against Europe’s best, and their combination of experienced veterans and young talent could be the key to a successful campaign.

Tent Obrenovac (Serbia)
From Serbia, Tent Obrenovac enters the competition with a fighting spirit that defines their playing style. Having competed consistently in European tournaments, Tent Obrenovac has built a solid foundation that blends youth and experience. Their qualification for the Group Phase is a testament to their hard work and determination, and Serbian fans will be eagerly watching as they aim to upset some of the tournament's heavyweights.

Mladost Zagreb (Croatia)
Rounding out the list is Croatia’s Mladost Zagreb, a team with a proud volleyball heritage. This is a historic step forward for this generation, who will now have the opportunity to compete against the strongest European clubs.


The Group Phase of the CEV Champions League Volley 2025 Women will have its first serve on 5th November with all matches to be streamed LIVE and replays available on demand on CEV's EuroVolley.TV.
