Hypo Tirol Overpowered by Allianz Milano in the CEV Champions League Volley

The HYPO TIROL volleyball team had to admit defeat again in Group C of the CEV Champions League Volley Men, a second defeat in the current group phase in as many matches.  

Before the game, the head coach of the Blues, Lorenzo Tubertini, had already pointed out the challenge: “Milan is a top team, we have to deliver our top performance.”
After the match, Tubertini was combative: *“In the second set we were very close to winning it, but unfortunately it wasn't enough. In the third set we showed our quality and deservedly won the set.”  

The Blues are now turning their focus to the domestic league, where a real top game is coming up on Saturday. In front of their home crowd, league leaders HYPO TIROL meet second-placed UVC Ried im Innkreis – a duel that promises excitement.  

The Champions League continues on December 4, 2024. In the second leg against Allianz Milano, the Tyroleans want to seek revenge away from home.
