Huge week in the biggest club volleyball competition on the planet, the CEV Champions League Volley, at the end of which we will know the complete Group Phase lineup for the women's competition and the remaining men's teams for the final early round.

With five seats in the Group Phase up for grabs in the women's competition, this week's decisive matches will definitely make sparks fly on the court. Four of the five matches will see the home club trying to consolidate on away victories, with Voluntari and Lodz having won in straight sets, while Obrenovac and Zagreb only dropped a set. The only team to have won their home match just a week ago was FC Porto, now having to go to Gran Canaria to consolidate what would be an amazing outcome for the club.

Two sets are enough for last week's winners to earn qualification into the Group Phase, anything less and we could be seeing several deciding Golden Sets.

On the men's side, the competition is as fierce if not even more, with only two spots available for the Group Phase. The eight remaining teams will be cut in half before heading into Round 3, the final hurdle the teams will need to pass if they are to make it into the next stage.
The Romanians from Corona Brasov are the only ones to secure a win away from home in the first leg, while Olympiacos, Orion Stars and Hypo Tirol all won in straight sets on home court. As with the women's competition, there's a high enough chance that we will see the faith of these clubs for the current season decided through Golden Sets.
