CEV Champions League Volley 2025 | Women
The CEV Champions League Women reached the play-offs stage, and so there is not much time to bounce back in CEV Champions League Fantasy game, with new picks ready to be made by enthusiastic managers.
The first-of-its-kind experience for CEV, gives fans the opportunity to become the coach of their own team across the men’s and women’s European premium competitions. Fans can pick a team of twelve players with specific assigned positions inside a dedicated team budget of 100 million euros.
Haven’t you already signed in and chose your team? Don’t worry, we got you covered.
So, the rules are quite simple and can be found here. To start, you must select a squad of 12 players with an initial budget of 100 million fantasy euros. The initial squad selection must consist of: three outside hitters, three middle blockers, two setters, two liberos and two opposites. You must select 7 players from your squad of 12 players to form your starting roster for each game week.
Of course, the top players can be rested, but with everything on the line, chances are that they score big. We have learnt and adapted and now we get ready to our second draft in the knock-out phase of the CEV Champions League Women Fantasy.
KEY PLAYERS
Krystal Rivers (€12.5m): With only six teams competing in the play-offs, the options are limited. But even if that was not the case, Rivers would have still made our team, as the sole player on the opposite position. She has been the best player overall in the Fantasy game, scoring 391 points in the 4th round. And then she delivered a masterclass in the first leg of the play-offs, bringing 110 points to the managers which selected her. It is virtually impossible to go against Rivers here, who is firing from all cylinders, despite her team, Allianz MTV Stuttgart, needing a miracle against Rzeszow to bounce back and clinch a quarter-finals spot. But if they do, Rivers will be crucial in that respect.
Nika Daalderop (€8.5m): Daalderop has racked up 281 points in the competition so far, being the fifth best outside hitter in the Fantasy game. Numia Vero Volley Milano are a shoe-in for the next phase of the competition, after dominating SSC Palmberg Schwerin in the first leg, 3:0, and will likely take a clear win in the second leg too, as they cannot afford any mistake. Enter Daalderop, who has averaged 46 points per match so far, having 41 in the first match, and with Milano likely to rotate their squad, she could have a bigger role here.
Monika Fedusio (€7m): The Polish outside hitter ranks second in the Fantasy game for her position, with 361 points accumulated in the first seven matches of the season. What really tipped the scales into her way was her performance in the first leg against Allianz MTV Stuttgart, where Rzeszow took a 3:1 win, edging closer to their maiden quarter-finals berth in the competition. Averaging under 50 points in the 4th round, Fedusio went off and delivered a clinical performance in the first match, delivering 73 points for her managers, as she aims to do more of the same in this decider.
KEY DIFFERENTIAL
Lucía Varela Gómez (€5.5m): It was not a vintage round for middle blockers, but a few of them have had some success, with the Spanish international delivering 44 points in the match against Rzeszow. It was more than her 39.5 points per match average in the Fantasy game, as another outing like that tipping the scales with precious points being delivered to the managers that trust Varela.
