Tonight, Olympiacos Piraeus triumphed in the final match of the play-off round in the #CLVolleyM, defeating Saint-Nazaire VB Atlantique with a score of 3:1 (25-19, 18-25, 25-23, 25-21). In the first leg at home, Olympiacos also celebrated a 3:1 victory over Saint-Nazaire, securing their place in the quarter-finals with a convincing performance.
This remarkable achievement marks Olympiacos' first entry into the quarter-finals of the Champions Volleyball League in 23 years. The Greek giants have showcased consistent growth and determination throughout the season, with this milestone reflecting their hard work and strategic gameplay.
The standout player of the match was Serbian opposite Aleksandar Atanasijevic, who delivered an outstanding performance with 17 points and an impressive 68% efficiency in attack. His contributions were pivotal to Olympiacos' success and earned him the MVP title.
With this result, all quarter-final matches of the Champions Volleyball League are now set. The upcoming clashes promise intense action and high-level volleyball as the remaining teams compete for a spot in the prestigious Final Four.
