Red Star confirms their Spot in Round 2 of CEV Champions League Volley Men

Red Star came into the game with the advantage from the first encounter, and only two sets were enough to qualify for the next stage. It started with both sides being equally eager to win, pretty engaging first set gave us a lot of great points from both sides.

Red Star came ahead close to the end of the set, but Omonia was not ready to give up, and we saw an amazing end of the first part of the game, with Red Star narrowly coming on top.

The second set started with more of the same, both sides ready to fight for the win, however Red Star showed more composure throughout and was ready to stave off Omonia’s advances.

Omonia showed great spirit and sportsmanship going strong in the third set, not giving up regardless of the outcome so we witnessed a lot of exiting points, however Red Star was able to finish the job in three sets, confidently winning 3-0 and flawlessly qualifying for the next stage.

The most efficient player in the home side was Omar Ahmad Deyo with 12 points, while for the guests the most points were scored by Theo Fabricio Lopez 15.
