On Wednesday night, SCANDICCI and CONEGLIANO dominated the CEV Champions League Volley Women 2025 quarter-finals first leg, both securing 3-0 victories over PGE Grot Budowlani ŁÓDŹ and Developres RZESZÓW, respectively. The Italian teams now hold a strong advantage for the return leg.

CONEGLIANO wasted no time making their mark, dictating the pace from the start. Developres RZESZÓW pushed back, matching their intensity, but every time they got close, the Italian side found a way to stay ahead. With precision and experience, CONEGLIANO closed the set, 25-22

The final set was a tense battle, RZESZÓW built a 15-5 lead, appearing ready to extend the game. But CONEGLIANO fought back, closing the 10-point gap to tie it at 23-23, The crowd watched as CONEGLIANO closed the gap, stayed focused into extra points, and won 29-27 to finish the match.
Gabriela Braga Guimarães, delivered an awesome performance that earned her the MVP title. The Brazilian had an impressive 15 points, including 13 winning spikes and 2 crucial kill blocks. Her all-around play was instrumental in CONEGLIANO's victory, providing both offensive firepower and defensive stability.
