In an exciting night for Italian volleyball, both Savino Del Bene Scandicci and Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia claimed commanding victories in their Champions League. Scandicci showcased their strength with a 3-0 win over Allianz MTV Stuttgart, led by MVP Ekaterina Antropova's 20-point performance. Meanwhile, Perugia followed suit with an impressive 3-0 victory against Jihostroj České Budějovice, with MVP Oleh Plotnytskyi leading the charge with 13 points.

Stuttgart's errors in key moments allowed Scandicci to maintain control, despite Stuttgart’s best efforts.

Stuttgart once again showed signs of life in the third set, pushing Scandicci with an improved defensive play. Yet, Scandicci’s squad kept up their relentless pace, expertly executing plays that Stuttgart struggled to counter. With a final score of 21-25, Scandicci completed their sweep, showcasing the depth of their roster and tactical discipline.

Sir Sicoma Monini PERUGIA vs. Jihostroj České BUDĚJOVICE: 3:0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-22)

From the opening moments, Perugia dominated the first set with a powerful offense and rock-solid defense. Their precise serves and aggressive attacks quickly built momentum, while České Budějovice struggled to keep pace. Perugia’s fluid team play led them to a decisive 25-16 win, setting the tone for the match.

České Budějovice came back fighting in the second set, increasing their pressure on Perugia with improved defense and quicker responses at the net. The Czech team managed to keep the score tight, forcing Perugia to work for every point. However, Perugia’s experience and discipline prevailed in the critical moments, allowing them to edge out a 25-23 win.

The final set saw both teams battling fiercely, with České Budějovice continuing their valiant efforts to push the match further. Yet, Perugia’s composure and tactical precision kept them in control, especially in the closing points of the set. Perugia ultimately closed out the set at 25-22, securing a straight-set victory.
