Luxembourg, August 21, 2020. Following today's Drawing of Lots for the CEV Champions League Volley 2021 Women and Men, Rounds 1 and 2 as well as the much awaited 4th Round, that took place in Luxembourg, fans from all over the world can sharpen their appetite for the great clashes that have been set up.

Europe's premiere club volleyball competition will feature as many as 65 teams - 36 men's and 29 women's. From newcomers to teams with a vast experience and an impressive trophy cabinet, they will all be waiting impatiently to get back on the court.

The CEV Champions League Volley 2021 Women will start with the matches from the 1st Round, scheduled to take place on 22-24 September and 29 September - 1 October. The three winners of the 2nd Round of the competition will go ahead and join the remaining 17 teams already seeded in the 4th Round.

The 4th Round of the CEV Champions League Volley Women will feature 20 teams divided into 5 Pools as per today's Drawing of Lots. With several previous winners of the competition seeded in the 4th Round, we will have plenty to look forward to for the kickoff. Fans will be excited at the prospects of Pool B in particular as representatives of some of the strongest leagues in Europe will go head to head.

Winners of the 2019 Super Finals and still title holders after this year's edition was cancelled, Italy's Igor Gorgonzola Novara will have to face tough opposition in Pool E in their quest for another long and fruitful participation in the competition.

The CEV Champions League Volley Men 2021 will kickoff with the 1st Round of the competition, with matches scheduled to take place at the end of September, beginning of October. The 1st Round is comprised of 6 Pools of 3 teams each, whose winners will move on to the 2nd round. This round will see 6 teams competing within Pools G and H in the second half of October, for the last 2 available spots in the 4th Round.

The CEV Champions League Volley 2021 Men 4th Round will take place along the same format as the women's competition, with 20 teams divided into 5 Pools. The winners of the 2019 competition and still title holders, Cucine Lube Civitanova has been placed in Pool B while the previous finalists, Zenit Kazan from Russia has been placed in Pool C.

There is plenty to look forward to as Europe’s prime Volleyball competition returns soon and the top players in the world will be taking to the court again!
