Team Bio
TRENTINO Itas are contesting their fifth CEV Champions League Volley gold medal match. They swept the title for three years in a row between 2009 and 2011, a record eventually matched and bettered by Zenit KAZAN, before settling for the bronze medal in 2012. They played their last CEV Champions League final in 2016, when they lost a dramatic match to Zenit KAZAN. The winners of the CEV Cup in 2019, TRENTINO’s journey in this edition of the CEV Champions League started as early as in the 1st Round. Their only setback this season came in the second semi-final match with Sir Sicoma Monini PERUGIA, but only at a time when they had already seized their ticket to the Verona Super Finals.
