A strong performance on Thursday for VB NANTES. Especially from the service line, from where they produced 13 aces. Calcit Volley KAMNIK didn't come close to the level they showed on Wednesday against Fenerbahce, so rightfully NANTES are now third in Pool B. Score: 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-20).

The goal in this match was to be third in Pool B after the tournament in Villorba-Treviso was over. NANTES have successfully fulfilled their goal. From the first set on they were in the driver's seat. They were in front throughout the first set and were only not leading up unto 3-3 in the second. The last time they were behind was in the third set was at 15-16. With some strong serves the French made the difference.

We were coming down the high after playing against Fenerbahce and it just didn't translate into today's one. Our serve-receive really suffered, they served really well and we just couldn't come back easily".

Nantes beat us in a game of service and reception and they deservedly won today. It was our third game in a row and our legs felt heavy, but so did the opponents. All in all, it was a great experience and we are already looking forward to going to the French bubble for new experiences with tough matches."

Aljoša Jemec, Head coach of Calcit Volley KAMNIK: We seem to have run out of batteries since yesterday, although that shouldn’t be an excuse. It’s just that in games like this, when your opponent puts you under pressure with service, you have to react better and do those simple things much better, which we didn’t do tonight. But we should also congratulate the opponent who played a very good match. I hope we learned something from this game and we will be able to show better volleyball in a good month.
