We are very proud of what we did. We expected the game to be tough, with such a strong opponent, but in the end we played a great volleyball and so we could win by 3 set. We can go back to Italy with 3 more points and fully satisfied".

Cristina Chirichella
Igor Gorgonzola Novara captain

From the stands it may seem that our opponent was stronger, but in fact we lost only in a counterattack. If we had used our chances in attack more technically, more rationally, we could have won the match. The second set in this regard was not very revealing. But in the first and third sets we could fight and we could win these sets. There are always opportunities to win. You just have to believe in ourselves.

Konstantin Ushakov,
Head coach of Dinamo Moscow
