• Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO and Grupa Azoty Chemik POLICE meet for the fourth time in the Champions League.
• The away team claimed victory in each of the previous three Champions League encounters: A. Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO in Police in the 2016/17 (3-2 as Imoco Volley CONEGLIANO) and 2021/22 group stage (3-0), and Grupa Azoty Chemik POLICE in Treviso in the 2016/17 group stage (3-2 as Chemik POLICE).

• Reigning champions A. Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO can become the fourth team to win back-to-back Champions League titles, after RC CANNES (2001/02, 2002/03), Volley BERGAMO (2008/09, 2009/10) and VakifBank ISTANBUL (2016/17, 2017/18).
• Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO have already qualified for this season's Champions League quarter-finals. They have reached beyond the group phase in all seven of their CL participations, including in each of the last six CL seasons. The only other team to have survived the group stage in the last six seasons (2016/17-2021/22) is VakifBank ISTANBUL.
• Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO are on a 23-match winning streak in the Champions League, including a 3-0 awarded win against Fatum NYIREGYHAZA this season. Their most recent defeat was a 1-3 loss versus Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA in the 2018/19 final on 18 May 2019.
• The Italians have yet to drop a set in this season's Champions League. Last campaign, they did not drop a set until their sixth group stage match.
• The 19-year-old Giorgia Frosini (39) picked up the most points for her team in this season's Champions League group stage, despite featuring in only three matches.
• Kathryn Plummer is among the best spikers in this season's Champions League group stage, compiling a spike efficiency of 54% and a killing spike percentage of 63%.

• Grupa Azoty Chemik POLICE won four of their five group stage matches this Champions League season, with the 0-3 defeat against A. Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO on 23 December as the exception.
• The Polish team could qualify for this season's quarter-finals as one of the best three second-placed teams. They survived the group phase on three previous occasions: 2014/15 (fourth place), 2015/16 (Playoffs 12) and 2020/21 (quarter-finals). NOTE: In 2014/15, they won their group and advanced straight the semi-finals as hosts of the Final Four (no Playoffs needed).
• Grupa Azoty Chemik POLICE could win three successive Champions League matches for the first time.
• Jovana Brakocevic Canzian (61) is Grupa Azoty Chemik POLICE's leading points scorer this Champions League season, but is followed closely by Agnieszka Kakolewska (57) and Martyna Lukasik (52).
• Only Ekaterina Evdokimova (17) won more points from stuff blocks in this season's Champions League group stage than Kakolewska (15).
• Kakolewska also ranks among the best spikers in this season's Champions League group stage, on a spike efficiency of 54% and a killing spike percentage of 62%.
