Pool E: SC "Prometey" DNIPRO (UKR) vs LKS Commercecon LODZ (POL):

Both teams have already played one match each, missing out on a victory, so this win was supposed to be a debut at this stage for one of the teams. The beginning of the first set was very intense, with neither team gaining a clear advantage over their opponents and consistently leading by at least 2-3 points. Only by the middle of the set did the Polish team find their game, causing the Ukrainians to make mistakes, allowing them to take a lead of 4 points. The factor of unforced errors significantly influenced the outcome, as Dnipro's team had 7 compared to 1 for Commercecon. Towards the end of the set, the Ukrainian team made a comeback, but the Polish team proved stronger and closed the set.

The second set unfolded differently. Prometey made fewer mistakes, but Commercecon found the attacking line and outperformed their opponents several times in this component. They scored 16 winning spikes compared to 6 for the Ukrainians. Prometey played much stronger in blocks, but it was not enough to win the second set, with Commercecon taking it 25:17.

The third set followed a similar script to the second. The Polish team excelled in attack, while Prometey once again showed good play in blocks. In the middle of the set, the Ukrainian team took the lead and was ready to extend the match to a fourth set, but the Polish team prevented them from doing so and finished the contest in 3 sets. The match's MVP was opposite Valentina Diouf with her 21 points.

Final score: 0:3 (20:25, 17:25, 23:25)

Pool A: Jedinstvo STARA PAZOVA (SRB) vs VakifBank ISTANBUL (TUR)

At the start of this match, both teams had already played one match in the group. VakifBank had one victory, while Jedinstvo had suffered a defeat.

It took VakifBank 72 minutes to overcome their opponents. In the first set, both teams had 1 ace and made 3 blocks each, but the Turkish team performed twice as well in attack. VakifBank made 12 successful attacks, while Jedinstvo made 6. In the first set, the Serbian team scored only 15 points.

The plot developed similarly in the second and third sets, with Turkish dominance continuing uninterrupted. They continued to attack their opponents actively, and the Serbians could not find a universal way to defend. Chiaka Ogbogu contributed 11 points to the team, and Aleksia Karutasu added 10. The MVP of the match was the libero of this team, Ayça AYKAÇ Altintaş.
