Overview

The Russian giant of Dinamo-Ak Bars KAZAN meet the fourth-placed in Pool E in what will be last game for both teams in this year’s edition of #CLVolleyW. In the first encounter that both teams had back in November 2020, the Kazan girls claimed a rather easy 3-0 victory.

Disappointed, the players coached by Rishat Gilyazutdinov leave the competition with no further hopes of continuing ahead. Star player Samantha Bricio has already acknowledged this is not the best feeling ever, but such things happen in sport, and her team will now concentrate on becoming better and better.

VK UP OLOMOUC, on the other hand, have been having their moments in the competition so far, trying to steal points from the favourites, but not being very successful in that. Katerina Valkova and her teammates will, however, give their best trying to finish with their heads held high.

“Winning today is fine, but the pain of not continuing ahead is still here. This year, we never showed our real game in #CLVolleyW, what we are capable of. Here, in Police we played a little bit better compared to the first tournament in Novara. We are definitely happy with the results and we need to keep on working and iproving”
Samanta Fabris, Player Dinamo-Ak Bars Kazan
