    3. In CEV Champions League Volley, after one match, Davyskiba is both the best scorer and ace for the team of Vero Volley MONZA.

    "It will be an important match for the access to the next round of the competition. We want to play our best volleyball in front of our supporters, which often has been our boost. to play better. By the way, it will be very important to face our opponent with the right mood and in the right way. Mulhouse doesn't have the odds in his favor in the Pool but they are guided by an excellent Italian coach and they're leading the standing of the French League"

    Impeccable, Vero Volley MONZA disappoint ASPTT MULHOUSE VB

    Vero Volley Monza started in an excellent manner in its first home match in the history of #CLVolleyW, making it a dream night for the fans of the team. In the fabulous setting of the Monza Arena, the squad led by Marco Gaspari claimed a straight 3-0 victory over the French team ASPTT Mulhouse. 

    The home side needed a big win, and so they did. Anna Danesi and her teammates pushed hard right after the first referee whistle, immediately taking control of the game, thanks to an outstanding performance of Anna Davyskiba (MVP of the match with 17 points, 2 aces and 2 blocks, and 54% in attack) and the punctual plays of Danesi (11 points, of which 3 blocks and 70% in attack), Van Hecke and Stysiak. 

    Mulhouse tried to come back, counting on Kimberly Drewniok and Anna Haak (6 points each). However, the guests weren’t able to show their full potential in attack (only 25% efficiency in this component in attack), and above all, struggled with continuity. After winning the first set, Monza did not stop and continued hammering points, starting from the serve: the series of Sonia Candi in the second set and an extraordinary Katarina Lazovic in the third, in which Vero Volley also delivered a series of 11 points in a row, being better in block-defence (9 blocks to 3 by the French).
