    After suffering defeats on Tuesday, Knack ROESELARE and Kuzbass KEMEROVO will enter the court extremely motivated to earn their first win in the #CLVolleyM Pool D. Matthijs Verhanneman, who celebrated yesterday his 100th game in the Knack's jersey in the European Cups was the strongest point of the hosts, once Pieter Coolman already yesterday impressed with his block skills. KEMEROVO hoped for the better start of their second #CLVolleyM campaign so will try to recover today with Ivan Zaytsev being their greatest star and strongest weapon.

    Kuzbass KEMEROVO defeat Knack ROESELARE

    After suffering defeats on Tuesday, Knack ROESELARE and Kuzbass KEMEROVO were fighting for their first victory in the #CLVolleyM Pool D. The hosts opened the game better with early lead 5-2 and despite a tie at scoreboard at 8-8, they re-built their advantage. Sparing no efforts KEMEROVO levelled at 19-19, but with Zaytsev struggling to find his rhythm the home team again jumped to two-point lead. Ace from Coolamn gave set point to ROESELARE at 24-23, but the Russian club denied it and turned into their favour.

    Alexey Verbov's squad improved their game taking a seven-point advantage at 14-7. Playing almost flawless, they struggled awhile to close this part, as they won it with third set point after Bogdan Glivenko spike.

    The hosts banished memories from previous set and took an early-lead 4-1 that they kept for few next minutes, but with Zaytsev improving his stats KEMEROVO not only caught up, but stepped up front at 16-13. ROESELARE fought hard, but they didn't manage to stop KEMEROVO, but it was too late.

A few mistakes at the end of set 1 and set 3 cost us a better result than 0-3. That was a big disappointment for us. But we also had some back luck a few times. We look forward to tomorrow. There is only one way to recover from this defeat and that is tob ring our best volleyball tomorrow.”
