Champions League Volley - Men is Europe’s top-tier continental club competition, running from the fall through the spring of each Volleyball club season. All national champions as well as some additional best-ranked teams from the top national leagues are eligible to participate. The Champions League was established in 2000 to succeed the European Champions Cup annual tournament launched in 1959.

Setting the Path to Gold

Formula

2021 will see an altered format for the early rounds as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.  Teams were drawn into pools of 3, with each team having the right to host a single round robin tournament.  The winners of each of the 6 pools in the 1st Round then moves to the 2nd Round where the same format will be used across 2 pools to determine the eventual 2 teams that will progress to the 4th Round.  There is no 3rd Round.
