  • Grupa Azoty Chemik POLICE are competing in their seventh Champions League season. Their best result in the competition is a fourth-place finish on their debut in the 2014/15 campaign.
  • Grupa Azoty Chemik POLICE recorded two wins in this season's opening two legs: 3-0 against Fatum NYIREGYHAZA and 3-1 at ZOK UB.
  • The Polish side have started a Champions League season with two victories for the fourth time, after 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2020/21. They could win their opening three matches for the first time.
  • Grupa Azoty Chemik POLICE could win three successive Champions League matches for the first time.
  • Agnieszka Kakolewska (27) won the most points for her team in the opening two legs of this season, including seven from blocks. Jovana Brakocevic Canzian (25), Martyna Czyrnianska (23) and Martyna Lukasik (23) follow closely.

  • Defending champions A. Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO are playing in the Champions League for the seventh time. Last season's title marks their best result, after finishing runners-up in both 2016/17 and 2018/19.
  • Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO can become the fourth team to win back-to-back Champions League titles, after RC CANNES (2001/02, 2002/03), Volley BERGAMO (2008/09, 2009/10) and VakıfBank ISTANBUL (2016/17, 2017/18).
  • Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO are on a 20-match winning streak in the Champions League (including 16 by 3-0). Their most recent defeat was a 1-3 loss versus Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA in the 2018/19 final on 18 May 2019.
  • The Italians defeated ZOK UB and Fatum NYIREGYHAZA in straight set in this season's opening two legs. Last campaign, they did not drop a set until their sixth group stage match.
  • The 19-year-old Giorgia Frosini (28) picked up the most points for her team in the opening two matches.
  • Joanna Wolosz played for Grupa Azoty Chemik POLICE before joining A. Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO in 2017.
