American Outside Hitter Kimberly Hill joined Dave and Ci to preview the CEV Champions League Volley 2021 Super Final in Verona where her side A. Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO take on VakifBank ISTANBUL on May 1st.
As well as facing a number of questions from fans, as well as Ci digging into her life away from the court, she talks about starting as a Middle, why the Imoco girls are such a great bunch of girls and her thoughts about this summer with the National team and beyond.

On the Imoco girls"I always assume people do not like us, but it is a great group. It is the most fun ever. We are all close friends and this year we all hang out as a group of 14 all the time. It is easier as we all live in the same building but it's a good group with lots of ridiculous, goofy, girls!"
On get getting back to the US during Covid"The last time I got back was October of last year. I came late to the season but thankfully between club and national team seasons we get a week to get home and refresh."
On the prospect of winning the Champions League with Imoco"I don't even have words for it. It would be amazing. This group is so special for so many reasons. This club from the top down are amazing and this club needs one and deserves one - for the work put in and the people they are."
On winning the Champions League in 2017 with VakifBank"That season was super fun. The Champion League win was really important as domestically that season we were garbage. We got knocked out of the Playoffs early so we were like if we don't win Champions League the season is bust. It was like climbing out of a well as we were down and down but we made it happen!"
On what she likes to do in her free time"I love to read, I do like a good novel but I will read anything really. Ideally I like a non-fiction true story. I just finished 'Boys in the Boat' which was amazing. I do have a kindle, but am more of a hard copy kind of girl. However living overseas a kindle is so much easier. Especially when you fall asleep and you just let it fall on your pillow!"
On who would be the Setter in her Dream Team"I don't want people to get mad at me but I think Asia (Joanna Wołosz) is the best setter I have played with and the best setter in the world. She is one of my closest friends in the team and such a great person."
On what life will look like after Volleyball"That is the million dollar question. I am going to take some time and rest and see what happens!"
