Reigning CLVolleyW champs of A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano

Pool A

With five wins before leg 6, Developers Rzeszów had already booked their ticket to the next phase of CLVolleyW, so their 0-3 loss to Lokomotiv Kaliningrad Region (who have four wins and two losses) did not affect their chances for their further qualification. On the other hand, the win was crucial for Lokomotiv, as it helped them to advance in the competition as one of the three second best placed teams.

Pool B

2021 CLVolleyW runners-up, the Turkish powerhouse of VakifBank Istanbul, delivered an excellent campaign in the pool stage of the 2022 edition. Impeccable in Round 4, and scoring another 3-0 win (against ASPTT MULHOUSE VB this Tuesday), Zehra Güneş and her teammates seized six victories out of six matches, and fly to the quarterfinals.

Vero Volley Monza did their job well on Tuesday, and with a straight sets win against LP Salo, also book their ticket to the quarter-finals (being one of the three second best placed teams).

"We have been working really hard in past two weeks. We pushed really hard in the gym and in our fitness sessions. It's nice to perform this goodl”.

Pool C

A fierce fight for the first place in the group until the very end of Round 4 made the situation in the pool quite interesting. With the Italian giants of Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA meeting Dinamo Moscow this Tuesday, fans were looking forward to seeing who will be the team that proceeds ahead. After a 3-0 win, it is the Russian squad that arrives at the most exciting stage of the competition. Novara, on the other hand, couldn't make it as a second best placed team.

"We are very happy for this result. We worked hard to prepare the game at our best, and we did something amazing. Our Champions League is not over yet: now we will focus on the next rounds".

Without a single loss before Leg 6, Fenerbahçe Opet Istanbul had their place at the Quarter-finals meeting. However, the Turkish team did not stop themselves and finished with no losses in the group, after outclassing in three sets the team of Beziers Volley.
