Power, talent, and the energy of youth: These are the keys to the success for one of the biggest superstar of women’s volleyball, Tijana Boskovic. In her eighth season in Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul, she feels at home more than ever and wants to get to the top of the podium in #CLVolleyW for the first time in her career.

Tijana Boskovic was born in 1997, but it did not take long for her to become one of the best players in Europe. After experiences in ZOK Hercegovac and Vizura Beograd, she joined the Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul’s squad in the 2015-2016 season and has continued to pursue her career here since then.

During her Eczacibasi journey, she received 2 FIVB World Club Championship and 2 CEV Cup titles, as well as gold medals in the Turkish Cup and Turkish Supercup. Her best result in CEV Champions League Volley was in the 2016-2017 season, where they lost to VakifBank Istanbul in the semifinals.

Apart from her club career, she has received a lot of trophies with her national team. While Serbia won the CEV EuroVolley titles in 2017 and 2019 consecutively, Boskovic was clearly the most important player in the squad. Apart from these, Boskovic shone with her performance when Serbia also maintained their title in FIVB World Championships this year and took one silver and one bronze in Olympic Games.

Boskovic was one of the players who came once in a century, and she also proved this with individual awards she got. She was honored as the MVP of the CEV EuroVolley in 2017 and 2019, FIVB World Championships in 2018 and 2022, CEV Cup in 2018, FIVB Club World Championships in 2017, and numerous national tournaments. Apart from the MVP awards, she also had many Best Opposite and Top Scorer awards.

In last year’s edition of the CEV Cup, the Best Scorer was no one but, of course, Tijana Boskovic. With 170 points in 8 matches, she made a 7.08 average per set, leading in these statistics. She was also very efficient in other aspects of the game, making 21 blocks (third in total) and finding 15 aces (second in whole).

After receiving countless successes in her respected career, the goal for Tijana Boskovic will definitely take the #CLVolleyM title, the most important missing gold in her club career. Her power and talent will guide Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul on the court, and to reach her goals, she will undoubtedly continue what she does best: play volleyball.

Of course, everyone expects a lot from her in every area, but Tijana Boskovic’s performance will be worth following during the season. In #CLVolleyW, Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul will take the court first time on the 7th of December, and one thing is for sure that Boskovic will show an outstanding performance throughout this long journey and make her mark.
