The Playoff Gets Underway - CEV Champions League Volley 2023 Women

It has only been a week since the confirmation of the final standing in the pool phase of the CEV Champions League Volley 2023 Women, but with no time to waste we are quickly moving to the playoff phase, a new addition to this season’s competition.
While the Pool winners have all secured their places in the quarterfinals of the Champions League, the second place teams as well as the best-ranked third place will now be going through the playoff to decide who will get the final three places to complete the quarterfinals lineup.
Among those six teams are all three representatives of Polish volleyball, which despite great performances in the pool phase none of them were able to clinch top spot in their respective pools. Joining the three Polish teams are two absolute giants from Türkiye, including reigning champions Vakifbank Istanbul and fellow team from Istanbul, Fenerbahce Opet.
To complete the lineup, Volero Le Cannet from France lead by their breaking star performances from Vita Akimova will also be battling it out for a place among Europe’s elite eight.
