Thousands of Polish fans have made the trip to Turin, Italy to see the All-Polish clash between Grupa Azoty Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Jastrzebski Wegiel in the CEV Champions League Volley SuperFinals and they were not disappointed.

The recently crowned Polish champions, Jastrzebski Wegiel started the final on the right foot and seemed like the team better connected to what is at stake. Serve after erve, play after play, Jastrzebski, lead by Tomasz Fornal and Stephen Boyer plowed their way to winning the first set and put the winners of the Champions League Trophy for the past two season in a position where they needed to react to change the tide.

And that is exactly what Zaksa did. The team spirit that the team has been taking so much pride in came forth and with the push from Bednorz, Kaczmarek and captain Sliwka, the reigning European champions got in control of the game, winning the second set and absolutely dominating the third to get in the lead of the Final.

The fourth set was a rollercoaster ride, from beginning to end, with each team taking turns to be in the lead at several times throughout. The ride ended with Jastrzebski pushing the Final into the fifth set and making fans in orange erupt after a marathon of 58 total points played.

Zaksa showed what they were made of in the fifth set when they confidently pushed through losing their advantage twice to finally win an incredible third CEV Champions League Volley Trophy in a row!
