On Tuesday evening another #CLVolleyW was played - the one between A. Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO and Allianz MTV STUTTGART. The team from Italy claimed another victory, this time by 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-23).

The first set started with a sprint start for Allianz MTV Stuttgart who immediately took the lead 3-0, but were unable to keep the high level. Italians soon went back ahead 16-9 despite Stuttgart’s toughness, which didn’t let itself be discouraged by the partial scores that the team suffered and tried to get back into the game.

The second set was dominated by Carraro Imoco Conegliano, and with a lot of help from usual Isabella Haak, with seven points in the set alone and 71% in the attack.

The third partial was more competitive, with the Haak - Rivers duel dragging their teams up to 24-23. Conegliano closed the set and match with Squarcini’s performance, thus confirming the lead in the Pool D of the #CLVolleyw.

Imoco Conegliano has now won 15 consecutive matches - ten in the Italian Volleyball League, four in the CEV Champions League, and one in the Italian Supercup.

"I think that we played very good volleyball some parts of the match, in others we could have done better but that’s what matches like this are for. Stuttgart is a very strong team in defense and for this I’m happy with the victory for the team to continue our journey in the Champions League."

"We know that Imoco Volley is one of the top team in the world, and coming here is not simple. Today we made a lot of errors and of course with this high quality volleyball is not the best way to figure out a game, they played a really good level so we just need to move on for the next matches."
