CEV Champions League Volley 2024 | Men
The Drawing of Lots for the CEV Champions League Women 2025 Men took place on Tuesday, 16 July, in Luxembourg, with the participating teams learning their fate in the competition.
18 teams were already seeded, while the last two ones in Cup 4 are still to be known, as the winners of the 3rd round of the European premium competition will also make it into the 4th round.
The 20 teams were divided into five pools of four teams each, with five well-balanced pools resulting from the Drawing of Lots.
In Pool A, German champions Berling Recyling Volleys will face Polish side Projekt Warszawa, who are returning after a four-year hiatus in the European premium competition, plus Belgian side Greenyard Maaseik and Slovenian champions ACH Volley Ljubljana.
Italian champions Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia, which are still looking for their maiden title in the European premium competition, have been drawn into Pool B, alongside Halkbank Ankara, French side Saint-Nazaire VB Atlantique and Czech champions Jihostroj České Budějovice.
The runners-up of the past two seasons, Polish powerhouse Jastrzębski Węgiel, will play in Pool E, alongside German side SVG Lüneburg, French team Chaumont VB 52 and Bulgarian champions Levski Sofia.
In Pool B, debutants Vero Volley Monza will also face a rookie, Helios Grizzlys Giesen, while Turkish side Fenerbahçe Medicana Istanbul make their return in the competition. The last team will be decided after the 3th round.
The runners-up in the Polish league, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, will feature in Pool C, alongside Italian team Allianz Milano, Belgian side Knack Roeselare, plus the winner of one of the matches in the 3th round of the competition.
The five pool winners will progress directly to the quarter-finals, while the second-placed sides in each pool, plus the best third-placed team overall will progress to the play-offs.
The quarter-finals winners will progress to the FINAL Four, where two semi-finals are due to be played, with the winners of the two semi-finals progressing to the big final, where the title is decided.
