CEV Champions League Volley 2025 | Men
The wait is over, the matchups are set, and the new season of the CEV Champions League Men is officially ready to sizzle. In a drawing of lots that paired powerhouses together, Europe’s volleyball elite found out who they’ll face on the road to continental glory.
18 of the 20 teams in the 4th round of the European premium competition are already known, before the last two teams secure their berths after the 3rd round, but the competition will be fierce, as the drawing of lots which took place in Luxembourg, on 15 July, provided some exciting pools.
The reigning champions, Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia, will face Berlin Recycling Volleys, VK Lvi Praha and a team which will come from the 3th round.
Runners-up Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie are set up for a Polish derby against Asseco Resovia Rzeszów in Pool D, as well as German side SVG Lüneburg and Portuguese team Sporting CP Lisboa.
Former champions Trentino Itas are headlining Pool A, alongside the reigning CEV Cup winners Ziraat Bank Ankara, Tours VB and a team which will come from the 3th round., while in Pool B, the Polish champions, Bogdanka LUK Lublin, the reigning champions of the CEV Challenge Cup, are due to face two Turkish teams – Galatasaray Istanbul and Halkbank Ankara, plus Knack Roeselare from Belgium.
The winners of each pool will advance directly into the quarter-finals, while the second-placed team plus the best third-placed side will qualify into the play-offs.
