Team Bio
They are only the third Polish team to reach the gold medal match of the CEV Champions League Volley, after PGE Skra BELCHATOW and Asseco Resovia RZESZOW both lost the title-deciding game to Zenit KAZAN in 2012 and 2015, respectively. Will they make history for Poland and claim a title that has so far eluded this Volleyball-mad country? Their journey to Verona includes dramatic Golden Set wins over titleholders Cucine Lube CIVITANOVA and six-time winners Zenit KAZAN in the quarterfinals and semis, respectively. By reaching the Super Finals, they have already improved on their only podium finish in the CEV Champions League this far, a bronze medal they won in 2003 in Milano.
