Chemik POLICE continue on the winning path in Pool E as on Wednesday they outclassed at 3-0 the strong team of Dinamo Kazan. In a match that lasted 81 minutes, the Polish players showed better mentality for the win and stayed concentrated in the difficult moments. However, the Russian side also had their good moments, especially in the first set when they were close to a comeback. On the closing day of the Police 'bubble, the host team will challenge Pool leaders Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA for the spot in the next phase. Currently, the Italians have 14 points, while the Grupa Azoty are second-placed with 13.

• Both teams started good in the match, following each other in the score. Dinamo Kazan needed a bit more concentration as they let some unforced errors affect their game. Chemik POLICE seized the opportunity, good in defence and with fast attacks, took the leadership. It was a close call in last minutes of the set, with the host team emerging victorious.
• Chemik POLICE were slightly better on the block and in attack in the second part. Both teams were paying attention and thus, delivering nice and interesting rallies. Dinamo’s reception suffered a bit more compared to the one of Chemik.
• In the third set, the players coached by Ferhat Akbas outperformed their opponents in attack.
• Setter Marlena Kowalewska of Chemik POLICE was on fire in this evening’s match showing great skill. Thanks to smart play in decisive moments, her team could take the best out of the fixture. Deservedly, she was named MVP of the match.
• Tatiana Kadochinka of Dinamo Kazan became Top Scorer of the match with 15 points to her name. For the winners, Jovana Brakocevic was the best, recording 14 points.
