During this season, this competition has already been played four times, between matches of SuperLega, Champions League and Italian Super Cup, with two victories each.

  2. The points at stake are important, especially for Trentino Volley that, after having strengthen its second position in the pool thanks to the victory 3-0 in Istanbul last 26th January, is trying to reach an important result to continue its race for qualification to quarter finals, in which can join only the first teams ranked of all the five pools and the best three teams second ranked. To do so, Trentino Itas has to win as many points and victories as possible between Thursday match and the match on Wednesday 16th February in Cannes.

  3. Trentino Itas will face Perugia for the 44th match in its history; the report is 22 to 21 victories, the last one dates back to last 2nd January, at home. The latest match was played against the Umbrian in the double semifinal match of 2021 (18th and 24th), in Champions League too, and it was favourable for the yellow-blue team. In its records, there is also a tricoloured match with Piacenza in quarter finals of 2017 CEV Cup (double victory, 3-0 in away-game and 3-1 at home) and five with Lube (all in Champions League): 3-0 in 2009 semifinal, 2-3 and 3-0 in 2012 Playoff 6, 3-0 in 2016 semifinal, 1-3 and 2-3 in 2018 quarter final, 0-3 and 1-3 in 2020 group stage.

  4. On Thursday, Trentino Volley will play its 916th match in its history, the 191th international one, the 109th in CEV Champions League, competition in which there are 85 victories and 23 defeats. At BLM Group Arena, Trentino Volley won 43 out of 49 matches played in Champions League. The last defeat was almost two years ago on February 13th 2020: 1-3 against Civitanova.
