Giovanni Guidetti“We expect a very tough match. We're going to play against one of the best offensive teams I've ever seen in my life. They have an amazing physical power and very good serves. We must be very ready and well prepared for them. We are very excited about this big challenge for our team”
Head coach VakifBank ISTANBUL
Gabi Guimares“We prepared very well. Fenerbahçe Opet is an opponent we know very well and so we know how difficult this match will be. They have a very special offensive power. We must pay attention to our serves and ensure that their attackers do not take a comfortable position. Our most important advantage will be that the first match will be in our home. We want to get the advantage for the second match with the support of our fans in our gym”

Match Report
VakifBank ISTANBUL one step closer to the #SuperFinalsLjbljana
Article
Gabi“It was really important for us, to make this first step. It was a difficult match, we didn’t expect to win 3-0. We knew that we needed to show aggressivitiy, as we know their power in block-defence. Next match, we will have to do the same, although it won’t be easy in front of their fans.“
Player of VakifBank
Michelle Bartsch-Hackley"Fenerbahce Opet are a very strong team. We've met each other many times this season, and we always knew what we can expect and how hard this game would be. I am very happy that we won. Now, an even more difficult test awaits us, because next week, we will play in front of their fans. We are very excited about that match.”
Player of VakifBank
Giovanni Guidetti“We played a very tough match against a very strong team. In the next fixture, we have to play even better than today. Fenerbahçe Opet are a very experienced team and their players know how to play such matches. I expect a very challenging rematch. I am satisfied with the current shape of my team. I am happy with what we put out on the field today. We helped and supported each other well, but nothing is over yet.”
