Overview

The closing game of the Pool B tournament in Tours. Both Sir Sicoma Monini PERUGIA and TOURS VB suffered defeats from Cucine Lube Civitanova and have forfeited win vs Arkas Izmir to their names. The teams face each other for the seventh time in the Champions League - all previous matches were won by Perugia. It is also the third consecutive year, when PERUGIA and TOURS lock horns in the 4th Round! Captain of PERUGIA - Aleksandar Atanasijevic is the only player that has played all six previous matches against Tours.

Massimo Colaci, player of Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia: “It is always difficult to play against French teams, teams that make little mistakes. Against Tours we have to win, it's a fundamental match and we have to be ready”.

Hubert Henno, head coach of Tours VB: "It's a pity that we play against two the best European teams behind closed doors, it was an opportunity to see the best players in the world play in Grenon Arena. The teams of Lube and Perugia are on a very high level, so it's a pleasure to play against them and to challenge them."
