    Savino Del Bene SCANDICCI stay unbeaten in Pool A

    The game between top-seeded and unbeaten in the Pool A Savino Del Bene SCANDICCI and the only winless team in this group Developres SkyRes RZESZÓW started very tight. A passionate point-by-point, with powerful spikes and spectacular defences, continued until the very end of the first set, when Savino Del Bene SCANDICCI used the first opportunity to close it. The hosts gained a few-point advantage in the beginning of next part. RZESZÓW tried their best to fight back, but despite several spectacular rallies, SCANDICCI grew stronger, with Magdalena Stysiak feeling more and more confident in spike (8 points in this skill only in the second set). With their backs against the wall, Developres SkyRes RZESZÓW again did their best to not let the opponent to get the lead, but in the middle of the third set Savino Del Bene SCANDICCI grabbed three points in a row and then took control of the scoreboard for good. At the halfway point of the competition in the Pool A, SCANDICCI stay undefeated with three wins and eight points to their name, while RZESZÓW are still winless with one point.

    - Birthday girl Magdalena Stysiak (SCANDICCI), who turned 20 years old today, was again the best scorer. She tallied 19 points and received well-deserved MVP award. She topped the scorers' chart in every game of this tournament.
    - Aleksandra Rasińska with 17 points was a top scorer of Developres SkyRes RZESZÓW.

We are not satisfied about our performance. We will work hard to get better for next tournament."
